All Natural Ingredients ~ Handcrafted ~ SAFE & Effective
Ballengee Farm All Natural Liquid Soap is only made with food grade saponified plant oils, pure essential oils and other NATURAL ingredients. We even grow some of our own ingredients, using ORGANIC standards of course! One batch at a time we carefully blend & PH balance our all natural ingredients to bring you the finest example of a handcrafted soap so you know what's cleaning your skin is SAFE, SIMPLE & NATURAL!
NO petroleum based fragrances or synthetic chemicals We only use 100% pure plant essential oils obtained using steam distillation or cold press processes. Many of our essential oils are also certified organic.
NO GMO's Genetically Modified Organisms. Our soaps are made using food grade, non-GMO oils with our primary base oils being Olive, Coconut, Sustainable Organic Palm Oil and Castor Oils. We DO NOT use soybean oils in any of our soaps.
NO animal testing Our soaps are made using time tested, simple recipes. We ourselves test every new scent and soap formulation that leaves our kitchen.
NO anti-bacterial agents (Triclosan, etc) Simple soaps are just as effective at removing bacteria as anti-bacterial "soaps". Ceasing the unnecessary use of anti-bacterial agents plays an important role in reducing antibiotic resistance.
Why All Natural? Certain compounds have the potential to be absorbed through our skin. This is especially a concern in products which contain surfactants . Many mass produced body washes are formulated with suspect chemicals, synthetically produced fragrances and petroleum byproducts . They are only "cheap" when not considering the hidden costs to our environment & ourselves. All natural soap leaves the glycerin and fatty acids intact which are superior for the beauty and health of your skin and leaves a minimal impact on the ecological system into which it is disposed.
We make our liquid soap with hot processed, unrefined food grade plant oils for a purity unmatched & a lower environmental impact from fewer processing procedures. We also use FDA food grade, kosher alkalies (lye) to mix with our oils. Our soaps are worry free to use for you and your family. Perfect for babies and children, sensitive skin types & eco-minded folks like us that are aware of the impacts of chemical overuse on our bodies & environment.
